To provide a range of innovative support services for people experiencing mental ill health who resides in East Dunbartonshire including those in outlaying rural areas served by the local authority.
To promote mental health and the understanding of mental health, provide a setting for discussion of matters related to mental health and promote the welfare of those who are or have been mentally ill.
To develop and promote measures which combat the stigma and discrimination faced by people experiencing mental ill health.
To provide information and advice on matters related to mental health service users, other agencies and the general public.
To promote service user involvement in all aspects of planning, monitoring and evaluating its own and other relevant statutory and voluntary services.
To identify unmet needs and collaborate with local statutory and voluntary sector partners in the pursuit of and response to unmet needs and development of new resources and local services.
