• To provide a range of innovative support services for people experiencing mental ill health who resides in East Dunbartonshire including those in outlaying rural areas served by the local authority.
  • To promote mental health and the understanding of mental health, provide a setting for discussion of matters related to mental health and promote the welfare of those who are or have been mentally ill.
  • To develop and promote measures which combat the stigma and discrimination faced by people experiencing mental ill health.
  • To provide information and advice on matters related to mental health service users, other agencies and the general public.
  • To promote service user involvement in all aspects of planning, monitoring and evaluating its own and other relevant statutory and voluntary services.
  • To identify unmet needs and collaborate with local statutory and voluntary sector partners in the pursuit of and response to unmet needs and development of new resources and local services.
