We can offer you support if you are affected by mental ill health and we can support you in your recovery to improved mental health and wellbeing, to lead the meaningful life you want to live.

My life feels a bit more ‘my own’ instead of belonging to the negative people and situations constantly around me.

We adopt a strengths and assets-based approach to look at what your strengths are and work with you to address your needs in a way that allows you to lead, and be in control of independent day-to-day life as much as possible. We believe that working with this approach will protect your independence, build resilience and empower you to make choices for your own mental health and wellbeing.

EDAMH has given me tools to help me to believe in myself a bit more and to not be down on myself when it comes to things out of my control.

Our support is provided on a one to one basis and you also have the choice to participate in a peer support group. You will work together with your support worker to develop your own personal Recovery Support Plan with the common aims of reducing isolation, improving motivation, confidence, self-esteem and emotional resilience. By developing your recovery plan throughout your support, we will work together to help you restore a meaningful and purposeful structure to your daily life, including improved emotional, social and vocational activity.

EDAMH has given me tools and helped me support myself in periods of wellness and illness. Helped give me confidence, self esteem and many more. I have a feeling of self-worth which I never had before
